How to Dress Like Carrie Jeanette

 

Annyeong, Carrie’s Crew! How was your day? Every day, we choose what outfit we want to wear and we put all of our efforts into making them beautiful to improve our self-confidence. Even though when we want to sleep, we choose our most comfortable pajamas to increase the quality of our sleep at night. As we can see, fashion is important in our lives, and the way we style our outfits determines who we are. We don’t need to spend millions of dollars to purchase certain types of branded dresses to become elegant and classy. However, the only skill that we need is the ability to mix and match our clothes according to the social situation we will face.

I realize it is important to have a fabulous outfit taste in these days. Many of my friends said that my outfits were eye-catching and incredible. I’m not a fashion designer and I realize many people have a greater taste of fashion than me. However, I’ll try my best to share my tips while dressing. Hopefully, Carrie’s Crew can become inspired and get something fine after reading this post! Here are five ways to dress like Carrie Jeanette!

 

1.     Be simple

Many people have a mindset that the more elaborately we dress, the more we will look attractive. Nevertheless, I must respectfully disagree with that frame of mind. In my opinion, we definitely can still look beautiful effortlessly by wearing the right make-up, tops, pants, and shoes. It will look strange if we use too many make-up products in every situation including studying in class. Besides saving time, using simple make-up will make Carrie’s Crew look naturally gorgeous. Stay minimalistic. Choose an outfit that highlights the best part of your body and protects certain body parts that must be covered. All in all, Carrie’s Crew can feel confident and comfortable with what they wear. Remember, keep it simple!

 

2.     No oversized or baggy clothes

Carrie’s Crew should need to know what suits them best. Some people feel that they are okay with wearing oversized clothes because it can make them feel easy to move, relaxed, and comfortable. For me, it doesn’t fit me well. Wearing a loosed sweater or jeans just makes me look strange and unattractive. Baggy clothes can overcover my natural body shape which is not appropriate in the fashion world. In certain situations, loose-fitting clothes can make us look unprofessional and affect the first impression of others. Even worse, loose clothes will not make Carrie’s Crew feel comfortable and are ineffective when used in cold weather because these clothes give a lot of room for wind and do not retain body heat. Eventually, this all goes back to fashion sense and personal preference.

 

3.    The color of your top and bottom clothes must be well-blended

First of all, Carrie’s Crew has to understand the examples of neutral shades, which are white, grey, brown, gold, and black. If I have already worn one outfit that is not included as a neutral shade, I’ll wear the rest neutral. This will highlight that non-neutral outfit which will deliver me a classy and bold look. On the other side, I also often wear wardrobes that are all neutral. Here, I can freely mix whatever neutral colors I choose because they are in one group, for example monochrome. It will never fail. The only key is Carrie’s Crew must understand the proper color choice according to Carrie’s Crew skin tone. If Carrie’s Crew uses a light top color and a light bottom as well, it will make the colors collide so that it won’t look elegant.

 

4.     No flashy colors (e.g. neon)

Still talking about colors. I’m personally not a big fan of flashy colors that can cause eye strain for both the wearer and those around them, such as neon. I, as an introverted person, prefer to wear neutral colors than neon which are extremely bright and can draw a lot of attention. Logically, if someone wears a yellow neon jumpsuit and stands up in a big crowd of people who wear monochrome outfits, he/she will be the first object seen by the eye, no matter how many people wear those monochrome clothes. The activities we’ve done in our daily lives greatly affect our outfit’s cleanliness. Neon colors can make the dirt or stains more noticeable, and this leads to a more frequent cleaning requirement. If people work in a place that easily makes their clothing dirty and they wear bright uniforms like neon, I must say that it is a terrible way of dressing.

 

5.     Wear suitable accessories

Stunning attire will look lonely without accessories, such as watches, earrings, rings, belts, handbags, etc. It’s a good idea if Carrie’s Crew tries to pick an eye-catching color handbag while wearing neutral-shade outfits to present a creative look. For example, a yellow purse and a black dress will put together an elegant style because it only emphasizes one color, which is yellow. If you want to look professional, you can wear a watch. Like me, I always wear my favorite navy Apple watch wherever I go because it makes me look competent. Not only that, but Carrie’s Crew also must be wise in choosing the right accessories to wear according to the situation. Remember not to wear big diamond earrings when you're shopping with your mom at the local market!

 

Choosing the right outfit to wear is not easy. This requires much time to learn and practice. Fashion is not only about wearing what we like but how we wear and combine it to embrace a blend of classic and iconic looks. Hopefully, after reading this post and practicing it in the world of fashion, Carrie’s Crew will leave a positive lasting impression through their look wherever they go!
